Our Process

Proper preparation is key to a long lasting floor coating. With Patriot Poly Pros, the company owner/operator will be on site for every job. High quality comes from an owner who cares about every job!

Each project is tested for potential moisture problems and the substrate is inspected to prepare for installation. Our tests will determine what repairs and preparation are needed, and if a moisture vapor barrier is required.

Our Polyaspartic Floor Installation Process:

1. Surface Preparation

We begin with thorough cleaning, grinding, and repairs to create a clean, sound, and properly profiled concrete substrate.

2. Moisture Testing & Priming

Moisture levels are verified, followed by a Moisture Vapor Barrier if required.

3. Base Coat Application

A durable Polyurea base coat is applied, providing exceptional strength and chemical resistance.

4. Decorative Broadcast

Colored flakes are broadcast for customized aesthetics and added slip resistance.

5. Clear Topcoat Vinyl

A UV-stable Polyaspartic clear coat is applied, delivering superior gloss, durability, and protection.

6. Cure & Return to Service

Rapid-curing technology allows light foot traffic in 2–4 hours and full use (including vehicles) within 24-48 hours in most conditions.
